This is a group for anyone who is interested in fencing! I am one of the owners of a new fencing club in the area, and we want to introduce and involve the local community in this great sport! If there is enough interest, we'd like to hold fencing events where we will give lessons and hold tournaments for Meetup members. Fencing is a great workout both physically and mentally, and a very social sport. Anyone who has an interest in fencing, or used to fence, or wants to learn should join!

Often we are taught subjects as self-contained disciplines, but in reality there are many natural forces which effect an historical event, such as plagues, landforms, climate, wind and ocean currents.
